Luca Filastro, pianist and composer, considered  one of the most important exponents of the Stride Piano style. He discovered his musical vocation at the age of 5 years old by listening records of Fats Waller, Jelly Roll Morton, Sidney Bechet and Louis Armstrong. He studied classical piano and got the Diploma  when he was only 19. The complex pianism of Filastro is well recognizable from his incredible sense of swing, blues and improvisation, in which Stride Piano, Swing, Bebop and Blues are merged in his own personal synthesis. His way of playing echoes the sounds of great pianists such as Fats Waller, Earl Hines, Art Tatum, Oscar Peterson, Nat King Cole, Bud Powell. His style is also influenced by the careful study of the greatest jazz soloists such as Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Roy Eldridge. In 2015 he released his first album "Handful Of Keys”. He perform all over the world  in solo piano, with his trio, quintet, septet and his Luca Filastro Orchestra.
